The Oxylance Burning Bar System is engineered for maximum cutting power and reliability in demolition, foundry, mill, and maintenance environments. Each bar is a steel pipe packed with alloyed wire fuel that, when ignited in oxygen, produces an exothermic reaction exceeding 7,200°F—hotter than any oxy-fuel torch. These bars can cut or melt virtually any material, including steel, cast iron, stainless, aluminum, concrete, and refractory.

- Preheat the tip with a welding or oxy-fuel torch until the metal begins to glow.
- Open the oxygen valve on the holder. The bar ignites and begins its exothermic burn.
- Maintain steady oxygen flow to sustain the reaction until the bar is consumed.
Once ignited, the bar requires only oxygen to keep burning—no external electrical or fuel source.
